Just made another video comparing the arc S against the arc and acro.

The arc S is slightly ahead, but it is coming really close to the dual cores out there.

After reading the reviews and articles about Arc S, all the comments on this topic is all about why only CPU upgrade? And from what I see, it could be only the android OS future upgrade capabilities. I'm sure Arc S will be able to handle android jelly better than Arc. No doubt ice cream sandwich will run smooth on Arc but since android OS upgrades happens every year, they don't want to repeat anything like X10 again. This could be a possibility, otherwise the specs are same.

It's a similar ploy to the x10 HD; incorporating o/s upgrade(2.3.4 in this case) and slight ui changes. Same proc., just officially overclocked(I normally run mine at 1.5) and marketed. It's not aimed at existing arc owners, all these and more can be flashed via flashtool, fastboot or adb; it's aimed at new customers who see 'galaxy sII' or 'desire HD' etc, whereas to the marketing department sa lose out with just 'arc'. It's like when fuel injection was first introduced an 'i' was added after the model name and people took this to mean better performance, thereafter anything multiple products which had nothing to do with fuel injection had it added to imply they were better. Now it's S and HD... I've even got the 'v6 supercharge' script running on my arc, it hugely improves performance but it's got nothing to do with actual supercharging

Waiting for the launch in India. I'm tired of using BB curve.

Though I've seen the videos and the UI is very snappy!
