Also for those in the US, it seems like the Xperia V will be sold via multiple carriers in the US according to zomgbbqftw from NeoGaf forums

AT&T, Verizon and Sprint ?

And in Europe the T, TX, V will start shipping from the 4th week of September onwards.

Well, the quality is terrible, why can't Sony make decent photos from their phones is beyond my understanding. They can provide iPhone 4S with really good quality, while failing to do that with their own phones. Epic facepalm for Sony...

Xperia P actually takes great photos from what I have seen. Even better than e.g. Xperia S, which is a bit surprising. However, Xperia P uses an ST platform rather than Qualcomm which makes me believe there may be some issues with the Qualcomm platform itself rather than the Sony sensors since they seem to work well with IPhone too.

Another issue is that the size of the sensors do not increase with increased pixels. The pixel density has a nasty impact on the interference and hence noise level.

Why is that? That from front camera or main camera? Better my SE Elm than it. XD

Unless the whitepapers are wrong, highly doubtful that AT&T will pick it up since the V doesn't support it's network frequencies. I don't know what Verizon or Sprint's are... I would prefer not to switch carriers though..

Sony's AT&T phones have the "at" suffix: R800at, LT28at, LT30at. For all we know, there could be an LT25at in the pipe.

The CDMA version of the Xperia Play had the "x" suffix (R800x). LT25x?

I agree with both of you. It is very unlikely that AT&T or any other provider will get the V.

No UK networks have picked it up yet but they've only very recently got the go ahead to launch their LTE services, so hopefully it will appear in the 'coming soon' pages of their sites. There are almost no LTE enabled phones available in the UK atm.

There won't be any V in UK (at least not this year). Just T. In scandinavia it will be the other way around.
