And somehow, it might even have a better contrast than Z, at least for the ones with JDC.

You can easily customize the look of your phone!

Unfortunately on most hands-on pics Xperia SP seems to have a bad screen as well.
But, for example, on this picture, the display seems much better than on most other pics:

The Xperia L and SP were presented to some tech blogs like Engadget and probably GSM Arena during MWC. They probably were given prototype units with bad displays. Mobile-Review attended the press event of Sony in Russia yesterday, and the units they had could probably be closer to the retail ones given that the displays look much better. Not sure if Pocket-Lint was there, too.

Hmm the (estimated) availability for XSP keeps being pushed back. Currently it is listed at April 3. Clove stated "end of April"). And that is only for the Europe LTE version, no hint yet at the date for the other two versions. I thought the whole point of pushing back the announcement was so that it would be available soon after. I would not call 3-5 weeks later 'soon'. I realize that I am not entitled to anything and that they will have it ready as soon as possible.. but this is pathetic.

Judging by
these benchmark results I think it is safe to assume that in some games SP will perform better than Xperia Z and HTC One, because of its lower screen resolution (720p)

I think the main point is, for me, is which screen is better SP or TX.

Are they not the same. I can't see that much of a difference.
