I'm also waiting for Xperia 1 mark8. My wife bought 1 mark7 and I can say the mark7 is the best Xperia 1 series so far. I hope mark8 will bring more.

Interesting take! I feel like I would really miss the 21:9 4K screen and other small features that have gone, like the notification LED.
I'm hoping the 1m8 goes beyond the 7 and shows love to sony fans, but I have a feeling we're gonna get expected upgrades in processor and camera and then just get a whole bunch more AI stuff thrown in there.
I hope to be pleasantly surprised. Sad there are no leaks yet but information has been scarce for a few years now. Guess we will have to wait until May before we know anything concrete.

i wouldn't mind that with an increased bump to accommodate an better camera module. there's not a whole lot they can do to change the external design other than moving the camera module and buttons around.
i miss the old days when different form factors were being made and design language pushed innovation. THOSE WERE THE DAYS.
