I have some difficulties with TrueSync and I'd like to try something else. I have a GPRS connection for WAP only (no internet apn).

you should be able to use weblicon even for WAP APN.

Can I add a suggestion:
The ´Location´ information in the appointments doesn´t seem to be synced and there is no field to show it in.
Can this be added?

Weird things are happening today.
For the past three days I've been able to sync my contacts ok, but today I'm get a 'synchronisation interrupted' error.
Is anyone else experiencing this problem today ?
Also, I've never been able to actually sync up my Calender, despite using WlcEvent for my calender path.
Am I doing something wrong ?
(I have a T68 on R2B)
