I'll go for the PS2, im still planning to buy this Christmas, mainly because the console is much cheaper and at the same time they have more games (and cheaper too!)
Bootleg games here in the Philippines would cost P150.00, when converted to U.S. Dollars would be $2.88 only!!!
Plays as good as the original hehehe

ps2 rules!.....at the moment,but with games like gta vice city and the getaway coming very soon no wonder the ps2 is the choice console.Give it a year or 2 and Xbox will be up there too,i own a ps2 but we also have an Xbox aswell!

hmmm.... lastest news from CNet is that microsoft finally agree to launched XBox in asia... begining with SIngapore... So those asian gamers can get the console or games of xbox at a lower price... the launched in singapore will be in Nov. Currently we do have Xbox selling here but they are all imported so the price of the console is abt 500 to 600++, but after the launched the price of the console will be 388. (all units in Sing Dollar) And the controller will be the asian model which is smaller compared to the US or Europe version which is bigger.
