I saw your thread, and decided to look for the game "Beneath a Steel Sky" - first time I've played it, looks pretty good.
But I have a problem exiting the game, each time I open the menu and exit to DOS, my phone doesn't seem to do this properly and hangs. Did you have this problem too? How do you exit from the game?

For all you people stuck on B.A.S.S. with the inventory/use option, I had this problem when I downloaded it to use on my pc when it became freeware. You simply move the mouse/stylus to the top of the screen. Wish I had my p900 so I could join in
I ordered it mid-feb (orange upgrade £50).

How do I bring up the different commands normally available in the LucasArts games, i.e. Use, Pick up, What is etc.?
For instance, when I bring up the inventory and click on the circuit board, surely there should be a "use" option. Scrolling up does nothing.
Also, what is that letter in the middle of the platform in the first scene? Is it some sort of object that is not rendered correctly in Escummvm?
This is driving me crazy - please help!

The game starts at the top of the stairs. I can see the rung, the door and the notice on the door.
I can't pick the rung up, though. I can only tap on the things and then the character will go there and say something. When he goes to the rung he says something like "I could sure USE that".
But I can't GET it! Aaaarggghhh! Supposedly, the scroll wheel should bring up the different available actions (i.e. Use, Walk to, Pick up etc.) but nothing happens when I scroll upwards. Damn.
Any ideas? I only have Beneath a Steel Sky (I've got a couple of the other games but they are on Mac cd roms which my pc can't read) so I haven't tried any of the other games...
Any help is greatly appreciated

DOTT only works on escumm 0.2 (without sound), not on the latest versions... and 0.2 probably only works on p800. As the escumm source is now released anyone is free to try to improve the current version and maybe add support for more games.

For all those interested, some of these games can be gotten from the monkey island.exe thread (just search for Monkey Island.exe on the search).
I wonder if there is anything we can arrange in order to extract some of the missing games from Arfi?
