No, that's not what I mean.
I want to have lightningfast access to all programs without changing screens. Just clicking thru the start menu like in Windows.
I want Tracker to be an OS shell that I (virtually) never have to leave.
When I close an application I want to be returned to the Tracker screen I came from.
On my Tracker desktop I want only a few things I need almost constantly. The rest needs to be near within Tracker.
Groink!

@blue
But it would be easier to have it in the start menu as you have tracker as the main page
Instead of having to click on applications then scroll to what you want then have to go back to tracker again
Also if you have applications in the start menu you dont need so many icons on the desktop
And looking at the size of the icons your not going to get many icons per page hence using the start menu would be easier not so much clutter

That's exactly what I mean!
The start menu is on the Tracker 3 page.

Right, righter, rightest!

You hit the nail on it's head!
That's why I want the (lesser used) programs in the start menu.
Then they are near but not in the way.
Btw. I just found out SMan 1.1 has a simplified version of it.
Check it out!
Can't wait to see version 1.2

Hi SweetHeart,
1. Is the whole skin contained in one file?
So you can't, let's say, change the skin of one page by replacing the background file with the filemanager?
Yes, the skin is contained in one file, as u said u cant change/replace a background with the filmanager
2. About your skin.
I'm missing a programs and games page.
I have so many programs on my desktops: the games alone take up more than one page. The same goes for the programs.
I would prefer to have 5 or 6 empty pages (Office, Games, Multimedia, Tools, Internet).
Euuuhhm, i believe that u did not read my post above correct
The desktop page is for all your programs or whatever shortcuts!
The multimedia page is for games and video/pictures/audio, but i think it would be better if i made a extra page named Games!
3. Imho it would be perfect if a user can select his favorite skin and just add empty pages with the same layout and background, give it a name and fill it with what he likes.
This is not possible, only the skin developer, thats me
can do this, after putting the skin in one file u cant edit this skin and also cant uncompress the skin, i think this feature is a very good choice!
4. Isn't it possible to start all the programs from the "Start" menu???
Just like Windows? I had a program on my Palm VX (forgot what it was called) that offered that. You could organise your programs in submenus. It looked a little like this:
Programs => Office => QCalc
Tools
Setup
About
Nobody talked about the startmenu yet.
This function is not possible, i will ask Symbianware if they would make something like this, i dont think so, cause the whole idea of T3 will disappear, do not forget, i can make skins in !FULLSCREEN!
5. Last but not least: may we expect it this weekend??
A time line by Symbianware is not given, i only can say that it will be released very soon!

Yes but if the desktop page isn't enough and you have enough programs installed to fill up 3 pages completely with small icons??
One big drawback is that when you find a nice skin you have to live with it's pages. When it has only two or three it won't be enough for a lot of users so they can't use the skin they like best. Especially if they want to use some large icons and some links to phone numbers and files!
I dare say every skin should have at least 5 pages apart from the today view to organise things a bit functional and good looking.

Bummer!
What do you mean by fullscreen? No bar above and no bar with battery, speaker, virtual keyboard etc. icons below?!?! How do I access these functions then? I can't miss em.

I know it's not up to you so don't take this personally.
If they wait any longer I wish they didn't announce the program last week. A few days works only positive but longer is bringing only frustration and is pushing up expectations so high they risk they can never fulfill them. With the risk it will be a disappointment.
This goes especially for their biggest fans who are checking continuously if it is finally available.
There will be bugs no matter how long they wait.

I agree with bugs matter.
But isn't it "obbious" (poor english level) that the start feature isn't there? I mean, maybe I'm wrong but Isn't that just what it seems? A DESKTOP PICTURE only.

Thats why i want to make skins for people, u can make requests, ask me any kind of skin
But do not forget that symbianware already has a skinmaker, the clue is that they are right now developing a simpler skinmaker for the guys who dont understand how skinning works!

The reason why they announced, A F*CKING STUPID BETA TESTER POSTED SOME SCAPS!!! This is totally forbidden and i am also against it!!! I can say one thing, i am a big fan of the program, and i am proud that they selected me to their Official Designer For Tracker, i hope one day to go to germany and visit the headquarters
There will be bugs no matter how long they wait.
I can say one thing, this is one of a hell program, i have never seen a good application for the p800 since it came out, i also tested some other software and this is still the best and there just few bugs available and no more, they are just making it perfect, we talked with Symbianware about this, and they dont want to dissappoint the users, from the beginning Symbianware listened to us!

Yes, I don't know what I'm talking about as I don't have the program. Instead of telling me that you use tracker everyday could you please tell me how the start bar works? I mean it's a simple click action or you got a menu in there?
Edit: I read it again and It looks agresive, sorry, no offense intented

This is a code that i write in the skin, the commands tells T3 to go fullscreen when u choose that skin, and the skin is also fullscreen
