well.... while I do appreciate the effort gone into it this isn't quite what I was thinking of. At the risk of sounding ungrateful, which I am not, I was thinking more about a theme with the words from the cover of the ficticious hitchhikers guide to the galaxy book. According to the story "the book has the words Don't Panic inscribed in large friendly letters on its cover"

here is an idea of what I am talking about but that is from the books electronic display rather than the cover whereas I have seen a much better picture of the actual cover with just the words in big yellow letters though with a similar font style.

I will see if I can find a picture of that or if anyone else knows of one please...

yeah i wasn't sure what to put on it as iam to young to remeber it i didn't have a clue about it it was all just guestimation on my part and if you don't like it tell me as a designer iam trained to larn from my mistakes which is what iam doing write now

In terms of aesthetics, colour coordination etc it was a really good job but looking at it didn't give me the impression of hhgttg as I don't even recall seeing that in the series.

Forgive my honest critique but my wife is into lots of crafts and computer graphics (though not phone themes) and always asks my impression and I am horribly honest with her too!

I think the menus etc were very good in conjunction with that particular picture but they would probably need to be changed and coordinated with the picture I have in mind, if I can find it

oh, well actually it a plastic container where you pull the lid off and inside is this hhgttg book. They did a limited edition DVD cover in the same style too.

As I recall its basically grey (I think) with big yellow (or maybe red) writing that just says Don't Panic!" in the same style as the one in the pic

i'm not familiar with the book/program (was too young), but it was the first image to appear when i googled "hitchikers guide to the galaxy". As it happens i downloaded the ebook tother day for P800 but not got round to reading it yet
