Reading the specs... it's very much similar with the p800. It's only the look and the User Interface that's different... not a big leap if you ask me.
This reminds me of Nokia... building several phones that look different with the same capabilities to cater to different people. I guess a lot of people were complaining about the p800's appearance so they make a "better" looking and slimmer phone. Some people don't like the "hairclip" stylus so they replaced it with a "clie" stylus. But since not a lot were complaining about its capabilities... they didn't improve it that much.
(Most P800-owneres are happy with what the phone can do. I guess they addressed the problems of crashing and confusing menus so they upgraded to a higher version of UIQ).
Just a theory.
So what about the other capabilities that people were hoping for?
1) Megapixel camera.
2) MS DUO PRO support.
3) MS Office Support
I guess by the looks of it, getting a megapixel camera won't be happening since its stated that it will only be a VGA camera.
Still no confirmation with the type of memory sticks it can use.
Still no app to create spreadsheets and documents. It will probably have a viewer like the p800.

not a gay childish blue like the P800
It's more a BabyBlue.... And in gray, is it still gay like you so much like to say?
And do you have a problem with that word maybe?
And NOOO , no megapixel, it's the same as the P800...
Nothing sure about DuoPro, but seems logic he would
No M$ office, just a reader...

Its just like the T68m to T68i really...
Not much change, but enough to make u want it...
I hoped for more, but i'd be happy to have a real phone again and not a Fisher Price/SE collaboration!

Ok guys lets face it.
With those features someone who updates from P800 to P810/900 is getting:
1)65000 TFT Display.
2)UIQ 2.1 (Including themes better organizer etc.)
3)A way better Design and colors of the phone.
4)Video Recorder! Finally.
5)Smaller and thinner. Its weight is 28g less than the old one.
6)A way better, luxury real-keypad with blue leds the old one was such a crap.
7)A way better, real PDA-stylus not cheap like the old one...
8.)T9
9)Smarter job dial.
10)Bigger screen in flip close mode.
11)MP3 support for ringtones.
12)Little better camera quality (according to mobile-review.com)
Some of the above are really important but all those features are not impress me at all. This new phone is just a perfect version of the P800 should I update?
Answer: Listen guys I am sure a lot of people here like me we bought the P800 since the first month it was out and we paid it extremely too much. For example me I paid $900.
But guess what like me like a lot of people in here I am a tech-freak!
So I defenatly want to update to the new phone!
But I am not buying the P810/900 unless I sell my p800 at least $450.
Don’t be stupid guys don’t kill your P800 by giving it away for a couple of dollars. Is just not worth it.
So here is the answer.
First you sell you P800 for about $450 and then you add $200 more and you getting your new phone.
What do you have to say?

agreed agreed agreed. the p900 is a good phone, but so is the p800. just stick to your heart, and for those with the p800, try not to be bitter... you know, like "sour grapes".... hehehe.
