The attaction to me is that the z600 i have is starting to look dated, and i've had a t610 so a t630 is just pointless, and my p800 has put me off smartphones.
So the choice is k700 or a nothing, so a k700 it is!, also it has mp3 ringtones so i can relive my childhood with cool tunes! lol

Can u not play amtrac3 file on a Magic gate duo?
The manual is a little vuage
and do you have to have your phone linked to it for it to work as a mp3 player alone?

@Zand
No the swedish price is 1293 sek (about 99 gbp) inclusive VAT and shipping.
Only shipping cost 25 gbp! And the Swedish VAT is more than the one in UK.

well, it arrived this morning and i must say i'm hugely unimpressed.
it can't cope with anything 192k or above, won't handle VBR, and if there's one file in the duo that it won't handle it says the whole lot are useless.
sound quality's pants too

that and the pish battery life.
methinks this will be sold rather sharpish.

what a waste of 60 quid.

hmm... i'm kinda warming up to it now
reencoded a load of music for it, and it sounds pretty good. shame the volume doesn't go very high.
got 8-9 hours out of the battery that came with it, so the battery problems are probably down to the cheapo ones i'm using.

Hi,
You guys do realise that Sony themselves, on their on website, are now selling the HBM-30 for £48 + vat. I bought one a couple of days ago and with p+p and vat the item cost £58! Last time Id looked there it was at £199 - if I remember correctly.
Anyhow, I understand that 'magicgate' contains some kind of rights protection? Does that mean that its not possible to load it up with Kazaa stuff? Not that Id want to of course - cough!
Cheers to anyone thats got an answer - and maybe any tips..?
