I'm not born in england but before I came here I had the impression that the police were Hardest cops in the world. But there are so many stupid rules in here that make it more difficult to do there jobs!!! They should be out there slaughtering childmolester not taking them to jail.

we have problems developing akin to america, the rise of gang war fare has seen many inner city areas become no go areas the police are struggling i feel the situation will get a lot worse before it gets better. Asylum seekers draining the system is the other problem. but i wont go in to that.

Its apalling the state of the UK, it really is. We used to be a nation of moral value, we used to be a nation that ruled directly and indirectly almost a third of the planet and population. Now look at us.
Corporal punishment (not capital, we aren't murderers after all) should definitely be reintroduced, as should a programme of toughening up prisons. Its a piece of damned nonsense that prisoners can watch tv, go for day visists outside the prison and other such crap, they are in there to be punished for the love of the wee man!

I reckon you all need to chill the f**k out, I'm sure that anyone who has access to this forum has the intelligence to realise that there is going to be inflamatory words and opinions.

IMO - 'jack if you want, don't 'jack if you don't want. Buy a hoodie, don't buy a hoodie. Has any one here heard the term 'Live and let live'

BTW - at the age of thirteen I'd been expelled from school, was an alcoholic, smoked forty cigs a day and was about to start a short term in a secure establishment - and I swore like buggery!

Just my sixpence worth ....

Hey, one hell of a kid

I reckon bluejacking is a fine pastime for a 13 year old - as long as, like Ellie, they are nice about what they send. Sending unfriendly messages is actually prosecutable, afterall.

I'd be happier seeing kids out using their brains and their technology to make contact with people, even if it *is* unsolicited, than sitting at home stuck in front of the tv, vegetating, or standing around on street corners drinking cheap fizzy cider and puking on their shoes.

As that old cheesy pseudo-house track used to say, "I'd rather jack, than Fleetwood Mac."

That was a bloody long time ago

... and I remember the bloody Reynolds Girls as well ...

As an aside - I live in a pretty backward part of the UK and decided that the best way to go out and 'jack someone was to got to Safeways LOL - I proved my theory that they really are all inbred around here ... hands up who's seen Deliverance They're all pretty much like those rednecks and wouldn't no a mobile phone if it jumped up and bit them on the arse!
