Might be that. I have a P800 but am thinking of buying a Z1010 so I don't really care.

Yes they certainly have. But I do think they should keep producing firmwares for it. With bug corrections and such.

I had a P800 for 10 months & it was a great phone,(i got n imported one a few months early)
Instead of seeing the P800 as the phone that was only out for 6 months in some markets (UK in particular) people should see it as a phone that was 6 - 12 months LATE in coming out, THATS WHAT SHORTENED ITS STAY, that sorts the whole issue out. add that to the extra time it took some UK networks to pass it & you have the reason it wasn't here long.
I'm STILL thankfull for the T68m/T68i upgrade, i am not going to expect it every time thouugh like some people.

I do feel sorry for the people who cant afford a p900 everytime i look at my p800 i think oh my god did i actually use that ugly brick!
SE are already planning a smart phone releeased 2004 summer so p900 life span will be simmilar to p800s any way. Quit complaining and buy buy buy! its a sellers market!

wont make any new upgrades for it wich changes the look and features.
