@mmsman when you say the nokia has way too many features what do you mean? It has foolw a few more pixels and java. And se has better quality, no squeaky covers! Thousand times better polys! Mophun is super if ya ask me. And easily available. Tagtag.com/seplace and gamepower.us for instance! Trust me the girli won't want to trade quality for stupid flashy covers, unreliable software and java. Also if she gets the MCA30 she would have a god cam phone(as you know the MCA's have always been better.higher res .

but i still dunn understand 3100 is still settling scores over t230
.

ayush check out this.. the sales guy says 3100 is anyday better than t230 .. alas.. he says more features.. and ofcourse since the prev is pricy he thinks of pushing it..
t230 - Rs7,400
z200 - Rs10,300
t610 - Rs15,500
t630 - Rs17,450
n3100 - Rs9750 ( but i have it fixed for 8500 Rs. since i can buy on behalf of nokia emploee
)
any comments..?

Now if you wanna trade the se for a few more pixels, java don't cry later that you miss the super mms capabilities and the better cam, better polys better os, better built. Come on someday we have to wake up. Don't in to the dark side. I'm sick of this people being persistent about the nokia being leader. Hell. two cents ;-);-);-)

yeah gprs on blokia's is also quite crashy! I say this because i owned a
blokia 3530.. and was a heavy wap user! So after few days the phone went to the auto switch off mode! And yes after some days it went to the auto white out mode following the auto blackout mode

3530 is a low end Series 30 phone (they are the worst), the OS doesn't have much in common with 3100's Series 40 (which has been hugely improved in terms of stability since 7210, 6610, 6100, 6800, 7250, 3300, 6220 etc).

just a couple o hours ago i had been to a fone shop and saw the both fones 3100 and t230 and checked their displays..
At the outset, 3100 is very bad looking .. looked to me like a plastic toy where t230 was looking more elegant and compact. I guess there lies the difference.. and regarding the displays.. 3100 actually had a clearer display with sharp text which i didn find the same in t230 (even when i put the text size to small), otherwise t230 was ok in other functions like sms and menu manuevering..
t230 is a bit slow but its ok as it has half the memory of t610.
all in all i am pretty satisfied with the t230 over n3100.
