All tried to take on Nintendo, guess what? They all failed.
Nintendo own the handheld market. A £200 plus HANDHELD is not going to beat a £120 handheld. That's before you even consider who makes them.
And 'the PSP looks better' is the silliest reson to buy anything......EVER!!

im not saying the psp is crap, ill probobly get 1 too but if u had to chose i would get nintendo
btw are the specs out for both the psps and ds? i think i might have mised them sumwere,
also wen r they both due out? in time 4 xmas?

well they obviosly owned the hand held market because they were the only main competitors. Now with Sony's PSP nintendo is obselete (dunno if i spelt that right, lol )

This topic cracks me up. The PSP has NO real time playable demos yet. DS has plenty.
No real release dates yet, but PSP is 'planned' for the end of the year in Japan. Then March 05 rest of world. Take that with a large pinch of salt since it still hasn't got an eject mechanism or any REAL games yet.
The DS, is rumoured for Nov 4 in Japan and Nov 11 in US at $180. Higher than I thought, but that only makes me think the Atari bosses joke guess of $500 for the PSP is realistic.
