I'm happy to hear that they improved the backlit strength.
Anyway, is there LCD contrast/brightness adjuster menu available after the upgrading?

I just got off the phone to Intec Cellular Services in Barnet, North London. They are only aware of firmware R2A041, no further releases have been done.
I live near Watford and work near Ealing, could someone suggest where I can go to get my firmware updated please. Also how long does it take?
Thanks
S
Maybe they are just a level 1 service location... I was told all level 2 locations should receive the R2L within the next week or so... All level 3 locations should already have it...

@vineet_d
Not trying to be rude, but there is not online upgrade service so we can kill that right now.
Second, the battery life is very good. Charge mine and left it, and it has been in the full green mode for about 12 hours now. BT has been running concurrently. Infact, I forgot and left it in visible/search mode for most of the time and the battery usage is rock steady. Two cheers for SE for getting this right and doing it rather quickly.
As for it being avail in Scandinavia, it should be as the Ericsson part of SE is Swedish.

it's now at the 26th hour and the batterie is now at mid-red level about 25-30%,I am playing tennis(I never win 2 games )
it should go till 6 other hours,so the new batterie life is about 36hours instead of 14 hours,it's far better

Just talked to SE UK about a K700i firmware upgrade for my O2 SE and they deny that there's any firmware available apart from R2A041. They even deny there's any issues with the phone either!
Any UK SE K700i who wants to try and contact SE UK can always PM me and I'll send them the phone number...
Gonna try Carphone Warehouse next - maybe they know something... O2 suggested I send the phone back!

@ Arne Anka : Maybe never!!! But comparing with other phone ( T610 ) the K700 battery life time it's a joke and if SE can't manage a way to fix the battery issue,the minimium they should do is replace all the K700 Battery ( i Know it will never happen ),oh, and can you tell me wich phone battery just work at 10% or less than the manufacter especified???!!!!
Sorry about off topic
