> 10 true reasons to avoid buying a K700

i have never know a new se phone have so much positive and negative posts in this forum. even when the t610 first came out and initial models had a hardware problem.
strange that there is some much on both sides. i have had a play around with the phone and was very impressed with it. sms speed was way better than the t610 and imo it was nearly on par with nokia.
rf was also way better than previous models. did a small ( not very scientifc test) with my 6600 and it was on par with that.
this was orange brandsed so did nt have the shortcut options but the menu was fast so it didnt really matter it me as the lay out was just like the t610 so i know were to look for things
i do agree with a previous poster who called people moaners, and yes as you spent money on it you have a right to complain but as always do your homework and try the phone before you buy.

What a load of guff, you are taking the mickey with that review. You are comparing it to nokias, samsungs etc, have you USED any of the devices u are comparing it to? I would have the k700 over practically ANY nokia or samsung, for me its better designed, *smarter*, and can do a lot of things in *one model*, as compared to nokia who have several models that can do *one thing*, which is utterly farcical imho. Why would you want anything else than the best? se are, (for me, anyway) by far and away the best mass-produced (i.e. not specialist) phones around.

It would still be the battery life and some little bugs that annoys me from the very day I sold my Nokia 7610 and bought this SE K700i - till at present

. . . I just hope that an upgraded software is already out to remove those 'pestering' bugs

!

If you're an iPod user, you'll be very disappointed not having the possibility to add memory cards to the phone.
If you are an iPod user, USE YOUR IPOD! The K700 is a phone not a mp3 player.

Id find it hard to leave SE products now, the K700i is an excelent phone, just got it out the box now and its so much quicker and smoother than the older models. Nokia phone users just get stuck in a rut. SE i think has better menus and usability.
Top notch!

R2L001 is out. People claims most although not all (~95% or so) bugs are sorted out (scroll to the end of page 1).
