eldar didn't said that!! he just stated that he haven't heard of it and that the model itself is not in EUROPEAN roadmap at least not in the old one he has but he doesn't have a roadmap for japan models and i think most if not all people here agree that this is probably a japan model...
though i don't think it's real but i just wanted to say that eldar didn't said that....

It could be a product from SE Beijing RnD but I doubt the china site is so advance after being establish in such short time.
There's a line of chinese character at the bottom of the picture....tht's the reason I suspect it can be from China.
But then I notice is look more like a Japan SE phone....maybe its for KDDI CDMA 2000 network.
if it become reality in Japan....maybe it will have a sibling in GSM world...remember that they started the S700 concept in Docomo and KDDI phone.

That would be a good explaination why Eldar from mobile-review.com isn't so sure whether this is a fake or not.

After having a really really close look at this picture - it definetly is for real, wether it be a prototype or not I don't don't know - but the thing that confuses me is if it's for japan then why the english letters on the buttons and no evidence of any japanese characters anywhere! I know that it takes memory stick duo but does the camera lens look too small for a 1.3 MP (or higher) camera? Surely there must be someone on here that can read the text at the bottom? Oh and the series 90 style interface that appears in the background- why can't SE use that - it could be their answer to the nokia 6600,7610,6630 phones?
All I know is I want 1 NOW
