@joven
There is a slide switch on the side for turning the keypad lock on and off. There is also a auto keylock.

I think the keylock function is quite handy, a new feature for phones.

i wouldnt call it a new SE feature for ALL SE phones, because it was more of a neccessity with the S700 due to its design.

To lock the keys it would be a pain to swivel the phone open, push the keypad lock sequence, then close it again, so instead its an external physical switch.

SE Candybar formfactor phones dont need this, nor would flip phones where ALL keys are covered when the flip is closed.

Going back to Century FM 105.4........
it's a Manchester station & only in the North West.

There is also other Century FM sister stations in Newcastle & Nottingham I think but obviously they won't have United's games.

well...I have a question 4 s700 owners....how's the display?..I mean....262k colors is 'a really big pack of colors' but...can you REALLY notice any difference (apart from the size off course) when you compare it to k700's screen or to the p910 (which, in my opinion has an horrible screen--I don't want to be mistaken, but it's not that nice...you don't immediately feel like you are facing a 262k screen) ?...so....in the end..is the s700 screen amazing like lg's t5100 or it's pretty the same as p910's one?...

Its beautiful...its as good as my iPaq pocket pc just a little smaller physically but same resolution

Wonderfully sharp, crisp images all in lovely 256k colour...the k700 is a good display but you can tell the difference side-by-side

slurp..... ..thanks dude....I'm so sad now...cause I live in italy....damn state....why do we have to wait so muc for such a beauty?....and the weird thing is that when they talk about mobile phones on tv they usually say the italy is one of the european countries with the highest number of mobile phones....so why do they make us wait so much?..grr.....apparently the s700 won't arrive here until a week or maybe more.....damn

S700 screen is incredibly superior to the T610 screen I just upgraded from.
It has got to be the second best selling point for this phone, after the camera.

Had the phone for about 4 days , now, and its quality is amazing. Only gripe ive got so far is the lack of a clock in standby mode, but thats only cos I dont wear a watch ! Minor problem for me !
