well, if it supports the dss, then i ll jus go dixons or the link watevr n buy it.....then once its updated to the latest, i ll jus send it back. so in the meantime, i ll wait for the benifit of the doubt now, as the latest multiserver doesnt work properly yet.

I you read the totalserver site they say usb cables have been tested but not guaranteed to work.

From totalserver.net:

Flashing Times using USB Cables like Fighter USB cables, DSS-20 or DSS-25 Original SonyEricsson USB Devices (drivers supplied by cable developer)*
USB Cable 921600 Baud Rate Selected Time Taken
K700i Unlocking 49 seconds
Full Flash K700 Firmware and Language 5 minutes 17 seconds
K700i Firmware Flash Only 4 minutes 20 seconds
K700i Language Flash Only 1 minute 15 seconds

*these cables were tested by our team however we do not guarentee DSS-xx cable support

I think in order for the DSS-20/25 to work the baud rate needs to be set at 921600 but the highest it can be set in device manager is 128000. I have seen a few web sites now that have said the correct baud rate for usb cable is 921600 so they must have done it somehow!

Also anyone got any info on creating a virtual serial port for usb devices, this might do the trick too?

i think when you install the syncstation drivers it does that for you cause if you look under the ports section of device manager in windows it has something about the syncstation and then at the end has (COM 3) I tried using com port 3 in total server with that braud rate but no luck, it says switch on phone when I do nothing else happens, is this what is happening to everyone else

Hi there,

can somebody reprogram the multiserver software so we dont't have to pay(need credits) to flash our phone. I have all the files you need i.e. K700 K7C CUSTOMIZATION Files, K700 K7L LANGUAGE Files, K700 K7S DECUSTOMIZATION and K700 K7S FIRMWARE Files.

Anyone who is a wizard with visual basic ???

If it wasn't for the Total Multiserver software those firmware files would be useless to you. It's only fair that those guys get some money for all their hard work.

You obviously have no idea how MultiServer works. It is not a standalone product. It is a custom application driven by an EMMA card that downloads the loaders to your phone (on demand), allowing you to flash/unlock it.

MutiServer has been around for years, and no one has cracked it yet! The EMMA card still hasn't been cracked either!

Don't be so cheap!
