I was at phone dealer in the U.S and he told me that the NEW s700 firmupdate is avalible online to doenload. I went to ckeck teh website, but its not avalible... does anyone kknow anything about this??

I just checked my firmware against the firmwares listed on the first post. I have the same firmware as the O2 branded firmware listed, but mine is unbranded straight from the box? I have one of the first S700`s from when they were first released. Is the first post in this thread wrong?

I too am waiting for a new version for mys700 as well. The version that was mentioned by sOny, was this a release to the service centers or is it posted on the Sony Upgrade site? By the way, is there a link to the upgrade site, like there is for the P9xx and K700 phones?

I think that i've got the first post updated.
The the branded/unbranded thing has to do with the customization version, not the firmware version.
Only voda has a diff firmware because they want it to be crippled (no MP3, etc...)

I don't think so that it was realesed doe service centers only. He told me that I could get it online... for some reason Sonyericsson.com has been down since last night...
