I got exactly the same results as you WereSHARK (same CDA too)

however trying it right now I am prompted for a username and password when accessing the update page so I guess they are working on it as we speak

Yeah, the SE update site admins or techs or whomever is responsible just pulled the site and added username/password authentication to the site. Guess they don't want people messing around on it. To make matters worse, I was able to start the update process by choosing Automatic Verification, instead of Manual (where you type in your CDA) Verification.

So it started installing up until 61% then timed out. Then the website refreshed with the username/password Authentication screen. SO now my phone has 1/2 and 1/2 updated files! Arghhh!

My phone stats are now:

Phone: CXC162042 R3E008 Bluetooth: CXC162028/1 R2C Organizer: CXC162041 R2A17 CDA: CDA162005/3 R1A29
*GRUMBLE* Man.. now I definitely need their website up and running soon.. god knows what kinda of wierd stuff is gonna happen on my phone now.(Good thing I backed up my data)

Same here. Couldn't access the site without a password. Hope this will be solved soon.

to wereSHARK im on R2A17 i tried ur sms bug and i have the same problem so looks like R2A17 might not fix the bug and might be limited to some handsets.

Anyone tried it successfully?

Same problem as before, checking the log reveals

"16.37.32:118 170 Exception Exception homeflash.msconnector.a: Failed to get second Ack for loader header!!!"

I'm trying to update CDA 162005/1

just trying it again now. It is, at least, telling me the correct latest version which is R2A17 which is later than my R1A30

I'll let you know in a few mins
