i bought a vodabrand k750i few weeks ago, no firmware update. Used DRM packager version 1.2, no settings changed. Created music.dm - then copied that onto memory card into the ringtones folder in media... works fine first time. i wouldn't suggest too drummy a tune tho, doesn't sound v good. Otherwise, boosucks to vodaphone nyah nyah nyah. Hope that helps someone. Ta to all above.

I have K700i, I have downloaded S.E. DRM 1.21 and S.E. DRM 1.34 (this one from Sony-Ericsson website). Version 1.34 doesn't support audio mime types. Version 1.21 tells me that it has created a protected file, but if I rename .dm file to .mp3 file, in properties I can see: "Protected mode: NO" and if I rename it back to .dm and send via bluetooth, the file can't be used as ringtone.

@NitemareReal

Don't rename the extension (.dm). Send it to the phone as it is and it will work.

I send the .dm file and it DOESN'T work.
I just renamed in my computer to see MP3 ID info and I can see that is not protected.
I send the .dm file but it doesn't work. It is very strange.

AND my Sony-Ericsson K700i DOESN'T recognize the .dm file as a "music" or "sound" file, I CAN'T play any .dm file. For my mobile, it is just a data file.

My phone is ok again. I had to reset it and now I have my original ringtones activated and the phone accepts and plays mp3 files as ringtone signed with Sony-Ericsson application.

By the way, I have the original Ericsson ringtones called "Mixed", "High", "Medium" and "Low" in both ordinary mp3 file format ...
I know that a lot of people are looking for those tones (but they can't be found), so just send me a pm and I'll mail them to those who wants them.

Does anyone else have these original Ericsson ringtones? If so, a URL or copies in email would be good. Thanks.
