What I'm saying is it will be /allowed/ to update, but won't necessarily work, whereas some are completely /disallowed/, regardless of the CDA. I'm not going to argue, because at the end of the day, almost everything I know about this stuff is from you, but it's what I believe based on my personal experience.
This is why I believe it...
Myself and 3 friends all have Orange K700i handsets. 2 of them are fairly old and 2 are fairly new. All 4 had the same Orange CDA, but the 2 older handsets have IMEIs starting with 35400600, whereas the 2 newer handsets have IMEIs starting with 35401000. Prior to any unbranding, the 2 older handsets worked with the SEUS and the 2 newer handsets didn't.
I unbranded all 4 with SE Tool, using the same firmware, and a CDA of CDA102298/83. So now we have 4 unbranded Orange K700i handsets. And guess what? The 2 older handsets work with SEUS, and the 2 newer handsets (one of them being mine) still doesn't. So I think this speaks for itself.

I understand what you are saying indeed, however the TAC is a phone model thing, i dont think its related to the the operater in any way - of course i could be wrong. It may just be that the SEUS is not updated with that model, i really do not know. When i get a k700i i intend to have a real good look at seus in which i will need your help
