Not at all. My K700i ringtone volume is very very loud. Much louder than any Nokias (incl. N-Gage, which is very good in volume level).

The funny thing about k700's ring tone is that when you are in the ring tone list to preview/hear the ring tones, it's kind of too soft. But if you have set a particular tone as your incoming ring tone, it sounds loud. Why is that so? Something to do with firmware?

i've been seeing all the reveiws and flashes allover the newspapers and the web and finally had the k700i 2 days back. Its awesome, slick and smooth performance wondefone. It betters the once blockbuster t610 by leaps and bounds in terms of both speed and features.
As i noted from other posts, the camera cover should have been put atleast to ward off the dust as its seated like in a deep well. cleaning is a bit problem. but with that camera cover, maybe the speakerfone will not be heard proper.
Good FM, Good Mp3(especially with the handsfree its amazin), faster menu handling, superior VGA camera, and most of the bugs found in t610 are sorted out and all in all its the maverick of

Battery performance yeah is a bit disappointing.
GPRS rocks like a zippo.. its much much faster than the t610 wap browser. The firmware was R2L001 when i bought it from the store !!
MMS is superfast. but with lil quirky ( no reply option).
