eyah well he said buy it now because the price will go up in jan - with euro etc. im sure hes just trying to get a buck out of me quickly. i dunno. i love it, have been waiting for it for ages, i jsut afraid im going to rush into it and have awsome phones come out - wait that doesnt matter becuase i wont be able to afford them until the prices come down, SO i am really only afraid of a SE v800 to come out that has better specs to the VF v800 and that the VF firmware will suck arse... actually what makes it different to SE firware - besides the icons - what will i be missing out on?

thanks again - your advice is greatly appreciated

Alrite mate. Very brief compare with SE V800 and Voda V800. ( just have some information )

V800 Voda:-
-Got "Live" icon on right side selection key"
-Mp3 limitation, just use DRM packager
-GPRS Settings. Vodafone settings cannot be edit or deleted.
-Calling card features seem not included.

This is suppose to have between the normal and branded SE phone. hehe

As for the GPRS settings, in my phone you may not delete or edit Vodafone's settings, but you can add another company's settings too.
I can fully use my service provider's GPRS functions

Well I got nothing to lose then do I. I don't care about mp3's cos I got an iPod, i can use GPRS, I have no vodafone branding and if the VF icons are in the menu - i'm sure ill get over them... But you have to wonder why companies have to do that, why can't they use manufacturores firmware and just include 3G options? That's what i hate about 3G, and the fact that video calls are completely pointless.

Anyway as soon as I sell my Motorola V620 that I bought yesterday with my voucher, I'm set! ooooh how I can't wait...

Because a voice call to tell someone you are on a train isn't?

At mobile burn forum, people are advising me to wait for a revised SE V800 (F500/K500) but how long will i be waiting. I can't just keep putting it off right? If i do get that then something good will come out a bit later again! And I loved my t630 when I got it but not anymore so it doesn't matter if it doesn't have EVERYTHING that i want (VF firmware) Even still couldn't I install SE firmware onto the V800 if a new model did come out?!?

Because a video call at least means that one has to speak that little bit louder, thus enabling those people at the back of the train, who, up until now, have been unable to hear important messages from complete strangers telling other complete strangers that they are on a train, to be able to hear.
