@kim

One doesn't always have to use Google.

How close does Google come to offering the entirety of human knowledge?

Why is Sirloin Steak called Sirloin Steak?

because back in the time of nights and damsells in destress, the king got really really pissed and accidentally knighted his loins, which he then happened to fall on a BBQ and cook them. later on that night, his wife didnt complain about gving him a BJ after a squrit of BBQ sauce.

she then thought that this tasted so good she would forever call it a sirloin steak, but use a cow instead of your husband.

cut and paste:
The sirloin steak is a multi-muscled steak cut from the sirloin section of the cow. It contains many different configurations of cut ... with all of them being called "sirloin steak". This can be somewhat confusing. These cuts are a little less tender than those from the loin and rib, but they are very flavorful and popular. The other steaks from the sirloin section are less well known, but at least they have different names.

London forces are the attractive forces that occur between apolar particles. Since the particles are polarized there exists an attractive force between them when opposite polarities exist.

scots- EDIT: oops forgot to write CORRECT! here

london forces exist between every molecule, polar or not. It's called an induced dipole.

Polar molecules actually have different poles and electron density is centered a certain way so that's when a dipole-dipole attraction occurs. Polar molecules still have london forces present.

Hydrogen bonds are when H bond with a very electronegative element (like O, F, or N) and that's an extreme form of dipole-dipole attractions. However, dipole-dipole and london forces are still present.

None is really "stronger" than the other -- dipole is in general stronger than London and hydrogen is generally the strongest but molecular weight and electronegativities still make the bond energies vary greatly.

I thought the simplified version might be more popular!
