tried to update to new software , got this message : There is currently no service for devices belonging to your operator.

although i have an unbranded k700i with r2l001 software, it was branded before with o2 germany, but i did unbrand it three months ago, and r2l001 firmware, and tried the update service three months ago , it worked , although i got the same firmware after update..

plz help...

Same problem here. I got the baltic language pack (with english) along with my R2AE033 upgrade through SEUS. Before that I had the Nordic language pack. What's wrong here??

SE installing wrong languages with firmware updates is very bad!!

I did what birdie103 had done, a master reset.
The orginial language has now returned and I've spent the last hour putting all the settings and files back in to the phone.

A quite lengthy procedure but for now the only one I know of.

It's really annoying, all these drawbacks that were getting from SEUS. I guess going to a service center is still the best option since you can control w/c language pack you want installed.

Hello ppl !!!

I just updated my unbranded k700i with SEUS. Now it says "wrong camera software(3.9) Upgrade to 3.10...." . What can i do about this .. at about 90% it gives me an "error in communication with the device "

Please help !

Gah! I managed to update my unbranded K700i to R2L001 with the update service last year, but now it tells me there's no service for my operator!

Happens with my O2 sim, a Virgin sim and no sim inserted.

It seems like SEUS somehow now is blocking formerly branded phones. Anyone with an unbranded (formerly branded that is) who managed to update using SEUS, please make a post about it!

If they have blocked those phones (using the phones serial number maybe) then that's great (financial) news to services like Davinci I love Davinci and think it's worth the small fee they charge - what I hate is having to reinstall all settings and personal files afterwards.

A tip to Davinci Team: Create a small program that copies the phones complete state in one process using just a click with the mouse and that as easily restores the phones complete state after the flash! Then your market would encrease even more

My phone was never branded. It was purchased new from Phones4U with the stock R2A041 firmware. There were no O2 logos or themes present on it.
