In general it is even more important for a woman than for a man to have a fashionable phone. SE's fit in really good in a certain style. It expresses confidence. Too many women ruin their looks with an old Nokia (you can never get style from the best selling brand!) and too many think any clamshell from Motorola does it (once it did).
A lot of women over here have a t610. Looks very stylish.
