@Jabe: Regarding crashing - how often is very often? I myself have seen the Kern-Exec 3 crash a couple of times this week, and I keep VeriChat running in the background at all times.

What you are saying with VeriChat reconnecting is already built into VeriChat (if you say it's not working, then its a bug) -
VeriChat monitors the fact that you are on a phone, and makes sure it doesn't send data when you are on a phone conversation. Then, after your phone conversation, VeriChat client syncs up with the Server to make sure everything is ok. If there is a problem, VeriChat reconnects.

VeriChat reconnects on every connection drop unless the Server asks it not to (e.g. you logged in from someplace else).

Do you actually see a correlation with the crash and phone call?

Actually I was just assuming that. But I've made a test today and not talk at all while waiting for VeriChat to crash. I started it at 6pm, chat a little with my friend (sent about 10 replies) then put it in the background. When I checked again at about 10 pm the Kern error was waiting for me.
With very often I mean everytime I have it running for a few hours, which can be several times a day if I want it on at all times and check regularly.
I didn't have as much problems with v 1.15b. It was more stable (don't remember ever getting this error), v1.16b is more problematic. I have no idea what causes this, the phone was unused for the whole time between the chat with my friend and the error. Wish I could be of more help. If you want me to try anything to make it easier to find the bug, let me know.

As earlier was mentioned here, it must some day be possible to make a choice if we want it to show F or Celsius. Right now the temperature and speed is uninteresting for me, need to use a converter all the time if wanna figure out right numbers.

Wow. All these problems in this app, and the developer insists on selling it for 25$ for the first year and 20$

Seems like we should wait till they fix the bugs before buying it. I know I will.

It was ok to use as QA, but now they force us to pay.. pretty lame.

@janptr

We have never seen the bug of "non-stopping" vibrator, and haven't heard about it from any of the other users.

Can you confirm your Vibrator settings in VeriChat -- how many vibrations do you have it set to?

Has this ever happened to you without VeriChat -- if you have, then it might be that you have a hardware problem.

For the crash, we are trying very hard to find that problem, but this only *seems* to happen with flip closed (where debugging with simulator isn't possible), and is *very* random. If you or anyone here knows of a somewhat reproducable case, we can look at that part of the code in more detail.

Think it was set to 2 Vibration Alert in Foreground and 3 in Backgrounds. Im gonna try it out for a while and just use the Audio and see if there gonna be any problems again. It has never happened before installed VeriChat. But let me continue without Vibration active to check it out further.
