@oh li
You'll be pleased - I've got a grumble with Vodafone.
Thier 'On Account Prepay Feeder' is full of bugs.
Every time I ring up to add $20 to my wife's prepay Z600, they stuff up. First they topped up an old girl friends phone by accident, then they forgot to credit the extra $20, then when I ring up to say "you owe me $20" and they accidently set up a regular $20 a month top-up to my wife's phone which was never requested. AAAAAAAARGH!
At least they sent a letter of apology reguarding the accidental top-up of the ex girlfriends account so I don't get awkward questions from the missus!
Now they tell me the current prepay feeder system is being replaced.
About time!

@cark: (From another thread)
My wife's phone is less than 18months old and was not old stock when bought. Sending MMS is one of the main things we like to do as I often work long hours and find it a more personal method of texting.
When I purchase a W800i eventually, I'll probably end up having to update the missus' phone to at least a Z1010 despite the fact that she doesn't need/want MP3 player and all the other gadgets
--
I wouldn't bother with the Z1010 here, it's vlive branded for a start unless you go parallel.
V800 is due out when Voda release 3G here and would be better if you wanted to spring for a 3G Flip (as its proper tri band too)
Would be nice to see the K600 out here but voda are dragging their heals on getting the 3G network up it seems

@Gigs
3G - Yeah, what's up with that? Vodafone supposedly launched 3G last year but they've released very few 3G phones and only one with PTT. Aparently Vodafones PTT system is supplied by Motorola and (initially at least) only supports Motorola handsets.
Yippee! [sarcasism implied] Nokia PTT handsets like the 5140 miss out and S/E are still trying to decide whether to bother!
Visited the S/E site; that K600 looks way cool, though I am looking forward to the W800i and those walkman features.

@liq: schweet

hope they're not a rip off ?
@cark: w800i will be my next phone. Though im not overly happy about the colouring, the rest of the phone is pornalicous
K600 looks mean too, but yeah, hopefully there'll be mroe killer 3g stuff from
PTT would be cool to have though

Changing the subject...
June issue of MyMobile has an article on WAP bill blowouts - Surfing the 'mobile internet' can sometimes cost you a bomb!
This has also happened to me. A few months back, my monthly bill included a charge of $99 for over 10 million Megabytes (later revised to over 10 MB - still $99 though).
During the third phone call to Customer Services on the subject (40 minute duration), they let slip that there are Data Plans available.
Now for an extra $10/month I can download 3MB with no ugly surprises.
Note: Every NON-VODAFONE LIVE! page you browse costs you money!
