Hi can anyone tell me how to access the PREVIOUS update, seeing as the new one is a little dubious, and I still have the firmware version I was given with the phone. I presume that one will be like heaven to me and I can wait till everything is fixed with the newest.
My version for p910i is
R3E008 PHONE
R1A30 ORGANISER
R1A05 CDA
Thanks

F**king SE retards!!! Now even the link is not working (after entering your CDA). Hope this means they are working on fixing the issue encountered by some people...

@Mad_Bob: I've got 162005/3 as well. According to http://uiqzone.org/software/firmware_p910.php R5A02 is available for our CDA since May 19. No way of upgrading, though... Ironic!

Yesterday i upgraded successefully my P910i, CDA 162005/3. Lots of complaints in this thread about upgrading to R5A02, mine went smooth, restored my backup and everything is fine, i don"t see any noticable changes though.

People, people!

Every time you have problems with SE's web-shite don't come and complain
here only. Do start using the "Contact" link on top of their page (it's right on
the top of the page, on the right side, near the "Search" field).

I believe that their web-shite is not designed to withstand serious traffic - at least in the updates area, so the only way to get them to *do* something about it is to log complaints. And trust me - they *do* follow up. You do get assigned a ticket number and they do follow up on it. Make sure you paste your error output and the exact sequence of events you went through, otherwise it is really useless and doesn't help anyone if you just log a call for "your update page sucks".

Also, you might want to tell them that their Java-download/update thingimajig could *REALLY* use a "Retry" button, just in case the link fails and you have to go through *all* the pages all over again.

Ino!~
