This is really weird, my k750i has none of the bugs youy guys are talkin about, (well i haven't tried the mms limit). The joystick shortcuts stay after turning the phone off, its never froze on me as yet, the build quality seems really good and sturdy, not 1 creak yet. Its actually better build than my s700i which rattled all over the place when playing music. I got mine from o2

The biggest bug for me is that on an O2 branded handset (not the unbranded ones) syncing contacts and calendars over Bluetooth on Mac OS X doesn't work.

Many people with unbranded handsets have got the tip I posted below to work:

Add K750 to iSync in Mac OS X 10.3 Panther and 10.4 Tiger

But anyone with an O2 branded handset can't get it to work. There's a big discussion about it on the Apple Support forums.

It appears that O2 have buggered somthing up in their version of the firmware.

So now after four years of iSync-ing with T68i, T610, K700 now I can't do it with my new K750.

Not sure how I stand with getting a un-branded handset. I know O2 direct won't supply one. I wonder if I can go back to the O2 store, get my money back and go to CPW or Phone4U to get an unbranded one?

if you ask nicely at CPW you should be able to get an unbranded K750 for your O2 upgrade. I never upgrade direct with vodafone anymore since CPW always give me unbranded when asked

i'm on my second k750 now, the first one locked up after a few days, and had a creaky back, and some volume issues.

The creaky back on this one seems worse than the first one, same volume issues so that must be the norm, and i have a horrible joystck button now, when pressed in (select) it sounds like a really loud press stud, but up down left and right and all the buttons are fine.

I don't think i can take a third replacement, so i may go back to my T610, and wait for the W800, at least there is no shutter on the back so it should have a solid back to it.

Yeah, I'm just not sure how I go about getting my money back on the upgrade I did in the O2 store. As a new customer I know you're entitled to a 14-day 'trial' period. However this doesn't apply to existing customers.

And I'm going to have a hell of a job explaining to the O2 staff what the problem is with an otherwise perfectly operating handset when they have no idea what an Apple Mac is, let alone iSync and Mac OS X etc.!!

I can't prove it to them (unless I borrow a laptop and take it in) and they won't be able to test it themselves...

My phone also freezes after some hours in standby. It's very irritating, and usually happens at night. I see in this forum that other people have the same problem, but I have read about this problem on other forums as well.

This issue must be solved, and I'm sure it is a firmware problem.

Maybe i'm lucky, but my O2 branded K750i syncs perfectly on OS X Tiger, all i did was download the update posted here - contacts, numbers all sync perfectly.

Only major bug i've had so far is that the phone crashed once after taking an image at 2mpx, but it restarted itself and it was fine.

Also, i agree with others that the battery indicator and level in the status menu don't always match each other.

I received my 750 on 02 yesterday, so far no bugs - i added "write new message" to the shortcut menu, and it stays no problem once the phone is on and off

one more bug: when bluetooth headset connected and the phone rings, it doesn't ring in the headset and pressing the answer button on headset doesn't answer it .. but when i answer on the phone it transfers to the headset .. worked fine with K700.

Coma/freezing:

after I disabled the "check e-mail account every 30 mins" my phone has been running 8 straight hours in a row without freezing...still keeping my fingers crossed!
