the lesson here is when a cop says "stop", you should do just that.
Did the cop say that? Did they identify themselves?
If three strange blokes had been following me then pulled a gun, I'd panic and run, too!

You would hope so.
No witnesses have yet to say they heard any warning, afaik.

Hes a brazillian international living in london for 3 years with his gran...
Why did they shoot him 5 times in the head while he was on the ground?
The best part is that they stand by what they have done!!!

I'm waiting to read the full report... five shots at point-blank range is an assassination, and a poor one at that. And, if reports are to be believed, he was
held down before being shot.

Didn't the poor guy also jump over the ticket barrier?
The reason they gave for shooting him 5 times was to make sure his central nervous system was disabled, so he could not detonate any devices. The Met have a shoot to kill policy, probably the best one for Suicide Bombers. .

It has been alleged. Although the police are quick to release CCTV images of those they want to question, the footage of anyone jumping over a barrier doesn't seem to have reached our screens.

I think anything more than 2 head shots at close range is over-kill. How dead can you kill someone?

Not quite so good for Brazilian electricians, though.

So you prefer that it was actually a suicide bomber, that the cops just arrest them and he blows up ? Yes, they made a mistake but the biggest one is from the guy who run, it's the perfect suspect !
What would you do, let him the chance to blow up and kill you or kill him to prevent more injured person or even death ? I think they made a good job, it was the guy fault's, you don't run like that with no reason !

@Bri So you are saying that the Police had no right to be deeply concerned about a man who runs in to a Tube Station after being challenged by Plain Clothes detectives? Of course you may say the man did not know they were Police but the Police did not know if he was a bomber or not. He ran onto a Tube Train! They had plenty of reasons to be suspicious, 56 reasons in fact! Plus the fact that the bombers have yet to be caught. .
