Erm, there's been a significant amendment to the original announcement about the charge.
At the end of para 4 of
http://www.agilemobile.com./announcement.html :
** Alternatively you may purchase the software for a one time fee of 19.95 with your credit card. **

The date that we start billing will be different for different countries, again depending on our agreement with the mobile operators, but for most users the billing will start within the coming two weeks.
It's located at the bottom of the agreement!

@john. May be pakistani operators do not sign an agreement with the agile , then can i use it for free or they will block my access. As in pakistan we use free or cracked software and operating systems , we do not like to pay a single rupee even to bill gates for windows , how can we pay for this agile messenger to some one. Lol. Regards. Umer

umerhayat, you should be ashamed and then itīs nothing to brag about. How you think, if all people are selfish and stupid as you, we ever will get new great applications from developers? Grow up...

Im not sticking up for Umerhayat but that was a bit harsh. Everybody in this forum has probably used a knocked off piece of software at one time or another or watched a pirate version of a film or even downloaded songs from a file sharing network.
Maybe if people cut the costs of there software then maybe more people will buy it, thus the company will actually make more money. The Tesco style of trading.
Some symbian software is better though as it is normally well priced anyway.
Although maybe Umerhayat should just me more careful about the comments made in the forum as there are developers that visit who may not appreciate it.

We are an under developed third world country. You know what it means. Here our average per person income is so much low that people are not able to get 3 times food. So we do not like the luxury of buying the software. But you can not understand it. Regards. Umer
