I have also signed it...
It would be a nice idea to have a petition that asks SE to release F/W revisions to all operators and we should have a choice of cutomizing language packs and so on....
On the protected directories subject however it would be nice to be able to reach the games folder on the phone (not memory card) as well as a couple of other folders that are hidden from reach by a user....

Fingerprint security secure? Not with a 1 in 16,000 chance of a false acceptance on budget scanners. I'd call that VERY poor security. Never heard of a good password?

For all the lazy people who dont want to be creating folders you can download the "4digit password folder system" here
http://www.savefile.com/files/1645745. The size of the download file is 1.2MB but actually it just takes 4 or 5 KB on the phone.
BTW, there are 11.110 folders

I signed the petition....
As the poster before me said use the Messiah. Just found it on
http://www.getjar.com/products/8396/TheMessiahV20
It works well as any casual person browsing through your phone won't be able to see the preview of the image or view it. They can however delete it or send it elsewhere from your phone but hopefully the person using your phone isn't that savvy or snoopy. Works well until SE can come out with an actual protection function.

The Messiah works well but you can also use file and folder hidding programs, the hiding program makes it look like the folder/file has never existed. You can get these programs off the GetJar website. I use FileExplorer but you have to move files to the phones memory, location:
c:/
or
e:/
Cheers.
