Hi all . . Im new here at these forum . . Bt i read since 1 year n 2day i finally decided to register . . This topic about opera mini mod is so interesting . . I have a k300 but actually i dont use opera mini on it coz i prefer to use ma siemens c72 a gr8 phone i think . . N i've downloaded opera mini mod since it was v105 hehe until the lastest version v203 in russian n as the most of you im waiting 4 a v203 english version coz i dnt know russian too well bt i use a translator lolz . So i can use it

Lately i've visiting bosshogg's site n it says how to make an english version joining opera-mini.ru with an opera mini bt even doing that there seems to not b an english option . . Or maybe depends on if u join the page with a russian version so it wont b displayed the english option . . So ill wait i little bit more though!! . . N if u have eng. Version let me know . . Pm me! I have v125 eng v3.1.7203 eng and v203 rus . . Well thanks!

The operamini mods are obfuscated! However the canvas and language files are the "t." and "v." vissible after decompiling the jar files using WinRAR. Now various class files make use of or refer to the two for the UI language and dialogues. Decompiling the classes is easy with either Cavaj or FrontendPlus or Netbeans. The difficult part is editing the undifined mime type files v and t. I'm working on them using a bin/hex editor hoping for some results! Try and compare an extracted/decompiled English Operamini mod to a Russian one. There lie the clues and answers. Some further modifications are necessary in the class files. (classes files must first be decompiled to .java mime then even notepad will open/edit/save). Can anyone identify the ext./surfix of the two files?

to all who need to have different versions of Opera Mini and Opera Mini Mod (and actually any other application)

I use Multime to combine them in a single application, and inside I can access any of them (simultaneously).

I was just wondering, are you able to open local files with this version of the browser and if so how? I have tried creating bookmarks using the file manager and following them but it encounters an unknown error, I've grown tired of using SE's own browser, the font is way too big and I prefer opera's look and feel and I haven't found any other way to open local HTML files

I've always wondered this myself. I'm guessing it's not possible or they'd have done it by now?

The only way is to upload the html file yourself(i suggest joining wen.ru) then view and save the page to phone using mini opera, then mini opera will open it fine.

@ALL Still no English version 2 on WAP, but i've linked to an english v1.26 which is almost as good on the wml page.

thanks for the link! I had "lost" my hack untile the new official beta is out, this will do me nicely
(wonder if the beta comes out with mobile9 which should be out any day now - seeing that beta 8.65 expires tomorrow!)

thanks a lot - will try it, although the other v2.o's I tried never worked properly on my e61 so 1.26 might be my only choice!

There's an english version 2 on my html page, but as said many times before. You can't download it through wap, only to a pc then to phone.
