CHA-01 is the version of the chatboard for the older Ericsson systemconnector found on A1018, T10, T18, S868 etc so that doesn't work with R520....

should work with R520.... have you checked so the systemconnector is clean?

hmmm... ok... have actually never tried the chatboard on any phone so I don't know how it works
can test one tomorrow at work and see if I can get small letters with it...

@san-man... Ive figured it out. Its not the phone thats slow, its u who is to fast! Actually I think t9 makes it a lot slower than it should be. It simply cant keep up with a speedy writer! Its good in a bad way! :-o
