> New firmware for P990i out now!
Bookmark topic
I am waiting patiently for the Vodafone UK version to be released. As the general new firmware was released a week ago does anyone know when the Vodafone version will be released.
I hope they have fixed access to my POP3 mail account in this version. If that worked the phone would be far more useable for me.

Just had my O2 990i unbranded yesterday and updated with the latest.
Phone - R9EA001
BT - R4F01
Org - R4A13
CDA - R4A09
Overall, seems faster and slicker, but still having the occasional clitch. Much, Much better than with the O2 software on it!!!

Do you have the "space bug" in opera browser after updating to R9?
(i've mentioned this bug in the topic for R9 firmware problems...)

I'd like to know that too. How can you get the P990i (O2 - Germany) unbranded?
Thanks

Took it to a place in London Bridge.
Very good. Very quick turnaround time too. The phone went in about 1pm and was ready about 5 ish!!!
PM me for the address and contact number.
ps. I did have to pay for it though as they have to buy the files themselves

I´ve noticed one thing on both the earlier FW and this new one. When playing music in the media player the song is i.e. 3:54 min long. But when the player is minimized the song is one second shorter in the desktop where the song is presented.
Anyone else noticed this?
Cheers

....to all you O2 P990's on CDA/6....
I am badgering O2 daily.
"They" are apparently also chasing this update, and it will be released "shortly".
I moaned about the fact that we wont know when. They said they'd inform me, so I'll let you guys & girls know too..... once I've installed the new update and confirmed it's there.
