When i bought it its already modified. Well the word modified is a term for playstation that it will play or run an unoriginal (burn disc game) or original disc game. He he he
By the way i have 2 ps1(big), one modified the other one not.
As you can see in the picture the 4 long red wire and a little I.C. chip. That's the thing they added to the motherboard to modified it.
