I suspect it will only work if the battery is at least 50% charged.

Mine restarted a couple of times, but then settled on a screen that shows it's applying the update.
It looks like you're going to have to get yours flashed at a service centre.
Service center couldn't do it!
it said "Software is up-to-date"...

Im on an 02 unbranded 850 and successfully updated. The equaliser doesn't remember manual settings if I quit. Or is it saved for each song? Also the lag in the viewfinder whilst in photo mode is still there.

Have in the past hour debranded my phone using Davinciteam to R1CA029 CDA1201-9794, and then used FOTA to update to R1CA037!

Worked really well, first thing I noticed straight away is the photos seem to save much quicker!

Has anyone had an operation failed message on games and apps and managed to get rid of it? I had the bug on my messages and a master reset fixed it. Just wondering if there's a way to get rid of the message on games and apps before I send it off for a replacement...

There's no installer. When Vista prompts you for the drivers, you need to point it to there.
Or, failing that, opening Device Manager and you should see the device with a yellow exclamation mark; right-click it and select update driver, then point it to that directory.

Guys, can somebody advise me with updating my phone to the latest firmware.
I am on T-mobile and my K850i doesn't have the feature under settings to update the firmware over the air. I have tried using the SEUS on my computer and it says that my phone is up to date. Is this indicating that there is no update for T-mobile yet, or T-mobile don't want you to update the firmware version?
