This thread is jokes.
After reading it, I searched for Bluetooth-enabled phones on the London Metro with my T68i a few times, and sent them some weird and nasty pictures, along with messages saying "You will be f**ked by ketamine". The looks on the phone users' faces were quite funny.
But what I don't understand at all is all the ridiculous childish nonsense about everyone sending messages like "Nokia Sucks!", "Sony Ericsson Rules!" or "Get a real phone!!!" etc etc.
Who gives a toss what phone other people have? What, do you lot feel insecure for owning a Sony Ericsson? Jealous of the 7650's built-in camera and superior processing power? If you have the chance to send someone an anonymous message without their consent, why on earth would you think of sending such sad messages as "BUY SONY ERICSSON!!!"???
I love my T68i, but I don't have a sad fetish for Sony Ericsson products. Nokia phones, whilst lacking in some areas, are solid products, especially the 7650. Why all the hostility towards them? People buy whatever phones they like.
All this silly immature childish "bluejacking" is quite sad. At least use your imagination and sense of humour to send stuff which will make people laugh/feel confused/disgusted, instead of wondering what kind of sad zealot sent them a "n0kia SUXXX!!!!!1111" business card.

@ all:
I personally agree with all of those who would rather not have a Bjack site. Having said this, I live in a place where I doubt there are many people who know about the existence of this forum and therefore would not be informed on Bjacking. I don't think it is good to make public though. I like the idea of it being "our little secret". If it did become general practice it would not be as fun......

Due to popular demand, there will be NO bluejacking.tk. At least, I won't create one.
Although I'm yet to do my first "hunt", I find the idea of bluejacking very entertaining. A dedicated site and msg board was the first thing that came to my mind, but since most people around here (which, again, according to the majority, are the people who do most of the blujacking) don't want such a site, I'll delete the redirection. nic.tk should release the domain within 90 days for anyone who would like to have it.

@all:
everybody's gotta do wot everybody's gotta do... if it's a site, do it... don't give me dat secret shit though... the site builder (forgot name - sorry!) has a point - bluejackin is allready public... dat's tha hole point of it... sharing the stories is sometimes more fun that blujackin alltogether... go for it if u must.

@Synax - I agree, making a Bluejacking site would turn the fun of BJ'ing into a kind of silliness....Although Bluejackin is actually great making a site i think would be taking it too far and also synax, your right sharing the stories has to be the best bit!

Cyanx, that's why we are here! There's lots of ways to share stories....
I agree with you...in the sense that if someone wants to create a BJ site they can do what they want! Furthermore, if there was one I'd probably happily visit it even though I don't see the need for one....and I don't seem to be the only one who doesn't....

Do you know "Geocaching"?
Short version of a long story (as far as I know it): someone started geocaching.com to support the idea/sport/hobby of geocaching. I don't know whether he coined the term. However, there's been some disagreement lately about the way he runs this site, accepts (or doesn' accept) help or proposals or just tries to make this site "his" site. IMHO, this is not how a site about a new idea/sport/hobby should be run.
I would have liked to spend some time working on a dedicated site to support bluejacking, because I really like the idea. What - sorry for being blunt - pisses me off, is that some people treat the whole idea as some kind of secret.
I found this thread via a German board, which handles more than one brand of mobile phones. SE (still being my personal favourite, although I own more than one Nokia) is only one of them. And the link is not even in the Nokia or SE section, it's in the PDA section. So much for secrecy.
I see bjacking as a way to have fun with inexperienced people, who don't know the features of their expensive phones. Let them find out about bjacking. Let them disable their BT recognition. I say that anyone who is "smart" enough to avoid being bjacked has done his homework and should enjoy his peace. As long as someone doesn't know or doesn't care, the game is open.
If the people I'd like to support (i.e. the people who came up with the idea in the first place) don't want my support, so be it. The most important opinion to me is Ajack's. He wrote that he's neither really pro nor really con, but that he would rather not see a dedicated site.
