make sure your not using the sports scene, and it's normal the flash only fires in low light.

you do realise that this is a mobile phone and not DSLR camera so of corse there is gonna be noise in low-light pics. with the flower you should have used macro or document mode when taking a pic that close also if the pic looks to dark on the viewfinder then turn up the ev to +0.3 with the joystick.

I know it is a mobile phone camera but with your help I think it is more than that...at least we all hope so.I attach a pic with macro and exp time...5000!!!
Concerning low light cont.,is it possible to force flash when red eye mode is selected eg at portrait scene?I know I am asking too much...but I am just suggesting a possible way to make it better...

I have already many good photos with that driver.I am just shooting in...medium-low light conditions or in shade with light background. When all in light or dark everything is very very good.

what is your problem with the quick shutter speeds, yes my driver in good light will produce quicker shutter speeds than most other drivers because i turned down the exposure slighty because i don't like over exposured photos, the quicker shutter speeds are a advantage the focus will be quicker, you don't have to hold the phone still so long the chances of a blurry photo is less. it is possible to force the flash but i prefer the flash as normal.
@bryanjay420, so which driver was closed to the real colour???.
