Asalam o alaikum warah matullah wabarakatuhu

how is every1..

@brother julias
mashAllah. hope to hear the good news very soon ..

a verse from surah Room , worth noticing, and worth thinking

41. Evil (sins and disobedience to Allâh) has appeared on land and sea because of what the hands of men have earned (by oppression and evil deeds), that He (Allâh) may make them taste a part of that which they have done, in order that they may return (by repenting to Allâh, and begging His Pardon).

Sura Room, Verse 41, Chapter 30

is this not happening in the world these days? Muslims all over the world have been facing hardships and are being targeted. Allah mentions in this aya the reason for this. That these are due to sins and disobedience to Allah.

We should try to repent for all our sins, which are visible to us and which are hidden from us. Indeed Allah is the most forgiving,

Wasalam o alaikum warah matullah wabarakatuhu

I understand that as "Those that have committed sins will feel remorse and thus repent".

So to say that Muslims are targetted to feel remorse does not fit.

It's basically, those who do bad things will regret it by having bad things done to them.

Or in a positive light, 'Be a good person and have good things happen to you'.

@Brother PK
mashAllah, subhanAllah ... please make dua for the muslim ummah ... May Allah keep your journey safe and sound. My family is also planning to go next weekend (wednesday - friday).

@Brother Amnesia,

that is true. but the point i was trying to make is that if we forget the true path of islam, then Allah will forget us and leave us astray for as long as He wishes. rest Allah knows the best

The Quran, a true book from Allah. A book of guidance. Guidance in every respect of life, whether it be family, business, banking etc. A few verses from Sura Luqman regarding what advise we shall give to our children. Lets read them, understand them and then analyze ourselves individually that are we giving these advises to our children?

12. And indeed We bestowed upon Luqmân Al¬Hikmah (wisdom and religious understanding) saying: "Give thanks to Allâh," and whoever gives thanks, he gives thanks for (the good of) his ownself. And whoever is unthankful, then verily, Allâh is All¬Rich (Free of all needs), Worthy of all praise.

13. And (remember) when Luqmân said to his son when he was advising him: "O my son! Join not in worship others with Allâh. Verily! Joining others in worship with Allâh is a great Zűlm (wrong) indeed.

14. And We have enjoined on man (to be dutiful and good) to his parents. His mother bore him in weakness and hardship upon weakness and hardship, and his weaning is in two years — give thanks to Me and to your parents, unto Me is the final destination.

15. But if they (both) strive with you to make you join in worship with Me others that of which you have no knowledge, then obey them not, but behave with them in the world kindly, and follow the path of him who turns to Me in repentance and in obedience. Then to Me will be your return, and I shall tell you what you used to do.

16. "O my son! If it be (anything) equal to the weight of a grain of mustard seed, and though it be in a rock, or in the heavens or in the earth, Allâh will bring it forth. Verily, Allâh is Subtle (in bringing out that grain), Well¬Aware (of its place).

17. "O my son! Aqim¬As¬Salât (perform As¬Salât), enjoin (on people) Al¬Ma'rűf (Islâmic Monotheism and all that is good), and forbid (people) from Al¬Munkar (i.e. disbelief in the Oneness of Allâh, polytheism of all kinds and all that is evil and bad), and bear with patience whatever befalls you. Verily, these are some of the important commandments (ordered by Allâh with no exemption).

18. "And turn not your face away from men with pride, nor walk in insolence through the earth. Verily, Allâh likes not any arrogant boaster

19. "And be moderate (or show no insolence) in your walking, and lower your voice. Verily, the harshest of all voices is the braying of the ass."

Sura Luqman, Chapter 31, verses 12-19

Verses 14 and 15 emphasize much on the respect we should give to our parents and specially to mother. They also explain the reason behind this. If one wants to understand this verse, just tie a rock to their stomach and try walking around, sitting down and do house work for at least 3 months.

Verse 16 explains the fact that Allah knows everything, whether it is hidden or it is done in a rock and size of that deed is as small as a seed. He sees everything, indeed. This aya should be enough from preventing a true Muslim from committing any sins, because no matter where you are, how many vails you have from the people, Allah is still watching you.

In verse 17, Hazrat Luqman advises his son the importance of performing salat, doing good and preventing evil, and to have patience. In a hadeeth, Prophet (PBUH) advised Muslims that in time of hardships, they should observe salat and have patience.

Verse 18-19 teaches us some of the social attiquetes that we should posses, all in the light of Islam.

May Allah guide our hearts towards the right path and help us read, understand and act upon the teachings in the Quran and Hadeeths. Ameen Sum Ameen
