Any idea if it will work on C702? Do I need to backup the original layout? Thanks.
I guess it should work on all a2 phones. Correct me if i'm wrong. Even upload it nothing wrong happen bec you can always get your original layout by file extractor.
@ emzee_ali the album art is correct.it looks in such a way on the comp. Also i couldn't take a screen shot in landscape mode. So nothing wrong. If the album art is square it will be displayed as square if it's rectangular then it will be rectangular. It will not be stretched. Have you used this?
But one thing i can reduce the size of that if you want.

I haven't used it. And yes, I want you to reduce the size of the album art a bit. And i guess this layout will work with W890i too...rite?

I tried extracting the original layout files and nothing happened. In fact the reader said that the folder was empty. Is there something wrong? I don't think I want to use the layout before I could get my paws on some backup files...very nice looking though...

There's something called db3150 reader on the "All original db3150 files" thread.

@Emzee
i'll make the album cover to lil small but i cant to do that today but i'll do it tomorrow.
@gr8 i'll post that too tomorrow. But it'll work on c702. so you can try it.
Generally this layout will work on all a2 phones with w3. Its not the whole layout. Its only a now playing layout. So feel fearless to work on it.
If you need original you can ask somebody in here or se-nse. You will get it.
Happy modding.

Can anyone help me please. Ive downloaded the A2uploader, extracted the files and installed 'DPIst' file. Then when i try to open the a2uploader program i get the following message 'windows cannot access the specified device, path, or file. You may not have the appropriate permissions to access the item'. Ive tried it now on my Xp Pro comp and also on one running Vista sp1 but im getting the same message on both. Am i doing something wrong? Thanks in advance.
I was getting the same error with AVG which was also picking up A2uploader as a virus as per Raiderski's initial post on page 1. I uninstalled AVG, disconnected from the internet, ran A2uploader to mod my K850 camera driver and then re-installed AVG. It's a bit of a long winded way to get around it but it worked.

@emzee
I extracted with the same but i .don't have pc right now to help you out. I'm replying you with my mobile.
You should use command prompt to extract it. You need two file main to raw then use DB3150 extractor. First convert to raw using main2raw the use command prompt go to c:/ by typing cd/ then type DB3150.exe converted raw firmwarename(with extn) through command prompt. And press enter you will get it.
There should be some tutorial in se-nse try searching.
