I wish you luck mate!

is it time for the release of new camdriver version?
I agree but still some small problems remains unresolved

I can move them on the list of known problems and fix later but one important problem must be fixed before release. Changelog is quite funny, unattractive I would say.
this one i think will be already very well balanced when it comes to over/under exposure
I tried some combinations to increase a bit default exposure but results are not good. In fact, now I think that this isn't camera issue because when I started to pay attention at exposure my pictures has changed from pale to vivid!

My fault because I got used to K800 overexposures and wasn't prepared for C901 underexposures, I was lost in this situation. EV correction and precise AE lock at half pressed key are our friends
Macro from lens I will post soon.

Simplest possible settings, really

I never have enough time to play with manual settings, only sometimes I use them when necessary. My lucky combination is:
Auto scene + proper WB (auto is often too cold) + attention on autoexposure
In low-light/night if I have stable support: + hybrid EM or manual exposure at 1/2s or more
For the clock mechanism I also used contrast with higher black point & lower white point.
any improvements on the VGA Recording? this is what i am waiting for
Sorry but no

There's no way to switch from QVGA to VGA in realtime and this must be done once in driver before you'll upload it to the phone. Second problem is that VGA and WQVGA (400 x 240, 30fps) distorts the camera menu, I don't know why but this doesn't look good. I don't know what to do althought driver is prepared for simple changes of video resolution straight in his code, not in official way

Sweet collection!

Even with very small depth of field I have a lot of fun with my lens, now I see that you also

VGA @ 30fps won't be possible due to hardware limitation. Quality isn't that good for video anyways.

Ohh, sorry

Now is good.

True, true. Max what I got in VGA is 13fps with a lot of compression artefacts while moving fast. It sucks. 400 x 240 is quite good but still it makes a little mess in the camera menu

@Raider
Thanks for the TIP
on the video recording, if there's no way to switch real time QVGA > VGA, then we have to stick to QVGA? unless you have perfected the VGA? i think 20ish fps is good for a VGA right? or it is possible to make VGA up to 30fps in the future?

Raider, is C901 with your camdriver better than Elm?

C901 camera perform always better rather than Elm™ as long as you know how to use it.
