As I've done a few times now I've not gone out on release day and bought the phone straight away and im not going to be doing it with the Arc either. Theres not really that much a difference to make me part with my X10's and upgrade to the Arc. HDMI port wouldn't get much use and 2.1 is fine for my needs.
I'll be waiting a few weeks/months and see what other users make of it or even just wait for the Arc's successor.

Why not? I did offer OTA updates for the X10's.

I know they're not to good at this though.

Its a bit faster but remember that the preview direct after shooting isn't there anymore.
