What the hell! Update is up on the UK Sony website but apparently my device is up to date. Any ideas?

I think you can find Generic UK FTF and then use flashtool to do the magic.

Be patient my friend.
You have to wait for your turn as everyone else. Being up at Sony's UK site only means the update has started to roll out in UK, not that everyone will get it today. The roll out will gradually proceed during the coming weeks and eventually reach your phone as well (I'm in same boat as you by the way).

The update is great. Very stable and the phone is noticeably smoother now.

Biggest improvements:
-Google Now (this improves voice recognition across the board)
-Refined fonts, system fonts seem thinner
-Improved Google Video Chat, specifically the frame rate & color rendition
-Faster app response over-all
Battery life for me however, has gotten worse. Not by much, but Battery Stamina mode reports 2 days standby time, and I only get the usual 8-10 hours, same as if I disable it.
