Thats ok, I was thinking of removing the info screen. Most people only use it to check the version number (which I forget to update a lot).

well if it is going away then I suppose it doesn't matter if it is showing all sorts of strange characters. I suppose you are right, it isn't very useful.

Are the new larger maps a good thing?

well I like the fact that my ants don't always start in a bunch now because there is more room. If they get too much bigger we may need a few more jetpacks to start the game off with. I also noticed that there are lots of arrows around where any weapon is initially pointed, I like that, makes it really obvious what is going on.

Hmm I haven't even tried the larger maps. Need to try em tomorrow then! love this game! Everyone who likes the old game "Worms" or "Liero" well maybe not Liero (not turnbased)... well you'd love this game too.

I have just published version 1.5 on my website.

The maps are not about 20% bigger and I have made a number of small tweaks to the interface to make it feel a lot better.

The old map packs will not work with it. It currently includes Jungle, Fruit, Ruins and Beach. These original map packs have been rebuilt using the editor and are vastly superior to the originals.

I will be publishing new map packs which will work with version 1.5 for WinterWonderland, Western, Countryside and Trash very soon. Possibly in one huge pack.

Any problems, let me know!

I'm on holiday for the last two weeks in July and may not have a chance to respond to the forums or emails during that time.

Cheers,

Tom

Hi Floss,
I just installed the new version of Soldier Ants over the top of my old version. I'm sure that the other updates have not required me to enter my unlock code but this one does, I can't find it! My laptop recently had to have a new HD and all my codes and reciepts were lost. How do I go about unlocking this version?
Matt

Keep up the good work as always. I will be installing the new version when I get my bluetooth setup again.

I hate moving.

If you have lost your key you can find it by returning to the online shop you bought the game from. You may be able to get it by looking at your previous orders. Or failling that you can email their customer support and they'll send you your key.

Or you could email me at support@smartmobilegames.com with the order number, the email address you used to register the game, the date of the order and the shop you purchased it through and if I can find the order details I'll send you the key.

I'll be without an internet connection at home for the few weeks though and will be on holiday for a couple of weeks so I probably wont respond as fast as usual!

Cheers,

Tom

Thanks for the advice, Floss. I just found the unlock code in my past purchases on Handango. Looking forward to the updated map-packs.
