It is true that on standby mode the clock mode is gone???? it means that only black screen is all we have?? i'm used with my p910i in checking the time. I hope SE can fixed it on firmware update.

yes, the clock is gone, but as I've said a few times already, you need only touch a key or the jog dial and the screen lights up and you can clearly see the time, so its no big deal

yes, there is a keyboard lock
if you don't have the keyboard locked and you press a key or jogdial then you see the standard standby screen which shows date and time etc
if you have the keyboard locked then pressing a key or jogdial shows the instructions to unlock the keyboard which also includes the current time in an easy to read font size

oh yes. sorry. it used to be in the screen saver function if I remember correctly but now its in the control panel -> security -> locks and is called the inactivity lock and its requires entry of the phone lock code after a period of inactivity

A couple of questions I hope some of the more knowledgable members would be kind enough to help me with.
I've noticed that every time I press the clock in flip open mode the phone continuously vibrates and the only way to stop it is to turn it off. Is this a bug or am I missing something?
Has anyone found the IMAP IDLE function to be reliable? It has worked well for me on the Treo 650 using Chatter but I'm unable to get the same results with the P990.
